Job Summary:
We're seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer - Signage who has deep expertise in the technical aspects of signage design.
As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for designing the structural and technical components of signage (ex. monument signs, raceways, other large-scale signage projects).
Key Responsibilities:
Design structural elements for signage (monument signs, pylon signs, raceways, etc.)
Create accurate technical drawings and realistic previews showcasing color accuracy, lighting, and placement.
Calculate load, weight, and structural support for signage installations to meet safety standards.
Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations in all designs.
Produce engineering documentation, including exploded views and assembly drawings for manufacturers.
Collaborate with teams to deliver production-ready designs with accurate measurements and specifications.
Provide recommendations on materials and construction techniques based on structural analysis.
Capable of designing and building signage from scratch, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
Graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of experience is preferred
A licensed engineer or architect is preferred.
Expertise in 3D modeling software: AutoCAD (or SketchUp and SolidWorks) for structural design and technical drawings.
Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and other graphic design tools for integrating visual elements into technical drawings.
Proficiency in load calculation, weight distribution, and material strength analysis for signage.
Experience creating exploded views, assembly guides, and technical fabrication documentation for manufacturers.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with clients, manufacturers, and internal design teams.
Ability to produce engineering drawings that comply with local building codes and industry regulations.
Strong knowledge of signage structures, including raceways, foundations, and load-bearing components is preferred.
Strong understanding of materials, fabrication processes, and installation techniques used in signage is preferred.

00:00 AM - 9:00 AM Manila time, Tuesday to Saturday (with a 45-minute lunch/coffee break).
05:00 AM - 2:00 PM Manila time, Tuesday to Saturday (with a 45-minute lunch/coffee break).
Compensation
36,000 PHP – 49,500 depending on experience
