Job Responsibilities:
- Performs detailed accounting assignments requiring a basic knowledge of accounting theory and principles, following established procedures.
- Performs month-end close process such as preparation of journal entries for accrual, prepayments and reversal by reviewing and analyzing financial transactions, accounting classifications and other accounting/financial records and reports
- Reconcile various accounts, including bank accounts, receivables and payables. Investigate and resolve discrepancies as needed.
- Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with local tax regulations.
- Blackline GL account reconciliation and Flux analysis preparation.
- The role will also be responsible for the PSA support for the Drug Dev and Acuta team and potentially exploring possibility of assigning management of SFDC/Revenue administration.
- Documents internal finance processes and modifies it for any significant updates
- Assists on audits and tax compliance by submitting reports needed on time and perform any assigned ad- hoc tasks.
- Participate in required trainings and seminars to stay updated with any related updates that enhance professional skills and promote work efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree holder in Accountancy or Finance (CPA is a plus)
- Minimum of three (3) years of related work experience in Accounting or Finance
- Experience in using ERP system; SAP applications preferred
- Knowledge of local corporate tax and PEZA compliance would be an advantage
- Ability to prioritize own workloads to meet deadlines.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co- workers and managers.
- Ability to work independently in a team environment with minimal supervision.
- Good oral and written communication skills. Strong analytical ability.
- Willing to work in Taguig (McKinley Hill) and Mid shift schedule
