Job Description:
We’re seeking a talented Website Developer with expertise in WordPress, SEO, and Figma to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating and managing high-performance websites, understanding both the technical and creative aspects of web development. They should be proficient in WordPress setup and customization, have a solid grasp of SEO best practices, and be adept at using Figma for design purposes. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently, solve complex problems, and stay updated with industry trends.

Responsibilities:
• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites
• Optimize websites for SEO performance
• Use Figma to design website layouts and prototypes
• Ensure responsive, user-friendly designs that meet client specifications

Required Skills:

WordPress:

• Proficiency with WordPress CMS: Customizing themes, working with plugins, and using page builders (e.g., Elementor, Divi).
• HTML, CSS, and [removed] Basic coding skills to adjust website elements as needed.
• PHP: Experience with WordPress core functions and the ability to make PHP customizations.
• Database Management: Understanding of MySQL for database optimization and troubleshooting.
• Security and Maintenance: Knowledge of website security best practices, regular updates, backups, and resolving security issues.
• WooCommerce: Experience with e-commerce setup and customization within WordPress (optional but preferred).

SEO:

• On-page SEO: Competence in optimizing content, images, meta tags, and headings.
• Technical SEO: Familiarity with tools like Google Search Console, XML sitemaps, schema markup, and resolving indexing issues.
• Keyword Research: Using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Google Keyword Planner to identify relevant keywords.
• Link Building and Content Strategy: Basic understanding of link-building practices and content optimization.
• SEO Analytics: Proficiency in Google Analytics, monitoring SEO performance, and reporting on key metrics.

Figma:

• Prototyping and Wireframing: Create high-fidelity prototypes and wireframes for responsive design.
• UI/UX Design Principles: Knowledge of user-centered design principles for creating intuitive layouts.
• Collaboration Tools: Ability to use Figma’s collaboration and sharing features for team feedback.
• Responsive Design: Ensuring designs adapt to desktop, tablet, and mobile views.

Qualifications:
• 2+ years of experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing WordPress projects, SEO success stories, and Figma designs.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
