We are seeking a Healthcare Tech Support Specialist to provide technical support for our digital health platform, serving both patients and healthcare providers. This role combines technical expertise with healthcare experience to ensure seamless delivery of virtual healthcare services.
Key responsibilities
Provide first-line technical support for patients using our healthcare app, telehealth platform, and connected medical devices
Assist healthcare providers with the clinical applications, telemedicine interface, and EHR integration
Guide users through device setup and troubleshooting for smart scales, blood pressure cuffs, and other connected health devices and apps
Document all support interactions and maintain detailed resolution records
Identify and escalate complex technical issues to appropriate teams
Contribute to knowledge base development and support documentation
Monitor system performance and report recurring issues
Required Qualifications
2+ years of technical support experience, preferably in healthcare technology
Experience with virtual medical assistant platforms or telemedicine systems
Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and healthcare data privacy
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
Experience with ticket management systems and support documentation
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in healthcare settings (clinic, hospital, or medical office)
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Knowledge of medical terminology
Experience with remote support tools and screen sharing applications
Background in mobile app support
Certification in relevant technical support or healthcare IT fields
Technical Skills
Proficiency in troubleshooting iOS and Android mobile applications
Experience with wireless (Bluetooth, WiFi, GSM) IoT device connectivity and setup
Knowledge of basic networking concepts
Familiarity with telehealth platforms and video conferencing tools
