Recruiting Manager

Job summary –
The Recruiting Manager is responsible for management of all functions of
the recruiting department. The recruiting manager serves as both the lead
recruiter by assisting the recruiting department wherever needed, a
leadership resource for the recruiting team, and will use their experience to
help develop, facilitate, and implement the next steps of the recruiting
process. This role will include supervisory duties of all employees on the
recruiting team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

-Work with CEO, HR Manager and Operations Managers to create and
update recruiting department policy and procedure.
-Assist recruiters as both a fellow recruiting resource, and leader.
-Create job descriptions
-Screen resumes
-Perform interviews of new candidates as needed and manage
recruiting staff in this process
-Responsible for all basic recruiting functions, job description,
reviewing candidates, interviews, onboarding, including issuing drug
tests, background checks, employment verification, etc.
-Monitor your team of new hires, including periodic reviews to
determine whether additional training is needed to ensure
performance standards are met.
-Manages and administers the function of the data management
system to include, but not limited to, entry of associate member data,
recording employment transitions (i.e. interviews, hire, separation,
etc.).
-Compile various reports, corporate reports and property reports to
comply with corporate quarterly reporting requirements, monthly
union reporting process as well as government laws and regulations.
-Support the company’s policies to ensure all employment practices
comply with federal, state, and local regulations such as but not
limited to: Wage/Hour, and Health/Safety.
-Develops and updates policies and manuals, as related to the
division/department, for implementation in the field, while ensuring
compliance to the same for consistency across the group.

Required Skills :

-Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in talent acquisition/recruitment
required
-Minimum 1 year management/supervisory experience required
-Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems required
-Self-starter who is organized and thorough with attention to detail
and thrives in a bustling environment required
-Excellent customer service required
-Computer Proficiency in all MS Office applications required
-Experience recruiting entry level talent up to management level
preferred
-Must be focused, extremely detail orientated, possess strong attention
to detail and organizational skills
-Strong people skills and professional demeanor required
-Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline driven
environment required
-Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills required
-Up to date knowledge relating to US human resources laws, best
practices, and policy administration preferred.
-Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Required to
speak, read and write English, with fluency.
