Purpose of the Role:
We are seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our growing real estate and land acquisition company to accelerate and streamline our hiring process, onboard top talent, and establish an effective HR department. They will also work closely with Sales to monitor employee KPIs in alignment with company goals.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment and Hiring Process
Job Scouting & Talent Sourcing: Identify and source the best applicants from the job market using job boards, recruitment agencies, and networking events.
Job Descriptions: Work with department heads to define the requirements for new positions, ensuring that job descriptions are clear, accurate, and aligned with company goals.
Streamline Hiring Process: Oversee the recruitment process from posting job openings to final selection, ensuring efficiency and timely placement of candidates.
Onboarding: Manage the onboarding process, ensuring that new hires are properly integrated into the company and provided with the necessary training and resources to succeed.
Employee Performance and KPI Monitoring
Sales Manager Collaboration: Work with Sales Managers to delegate the task of monitoring employee KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for new hires, aligning them with the company’s regional or departmental goals.
Performance Tracking: Ensure regular monitoring and tracking of employee performance metrics to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
Training and Development: Identify and implement ongoing training initiatives to improve employee performance, focusing on sales targets, productivity, and team development.
Skills and Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
HR certifications such as SHRM-CP or PHR are preferred, but not required.
Experience:
Experienced in HR management especially in Recruitment and Training and Development, preferably in a real estate, land acquisition, or project-based environment (but open to candidates with strong general HR experience).
Experience with employee performance management and tracking KPIs.
Key Skills:
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple recruitment campaigns or HR initiatives simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees.
Strong decision-making abilities and experience with employee performance evaluation systems.
High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive employee information.
Real estate or land acquisition knowledge (preferred but not required): Understanding of industry-specific hiring needs, such as project-based or field teams, and familiarity with unique operational challenges in US land acquisition or real estate.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $4-5 hourly, depending on experience and qualifications.
Working Hours
11:00am - 8:00pm EST
