Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Assistant/General Virtual Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support and assist with accounting duties. This role requires a high level of organization, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily accounting tasks including accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Maintain and update financial records in accounting software.
Assist in preparing financial reports and statements.
Handle invoicing and expense tracking.
Support the management in administrative tasks and project coordination.
Manage email s, calendars, and scheduling.
Conduct research and data analysis as required.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an accounting assistant or in a similar role.
Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office (Excel, Word).
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
