Accounting Specialist - Investment (BDO Life)

Job Summary

The position is primarily responsible processing and recording of General Accounting transactions and policy/non-policy related adjusting entries. Maintenance of subsidiary ledgers and reconciliation of assigned General ledger accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Accounts Analysis and Reconciliation - (1) interface monitoring and clearing of suspense accounts. (2) reconciliation, monitoring and analysis of the following accounts:- Fixed assets (tangible/intangible), Various Accounts Payables, Various Accounts Receivables, Prepaid expenses, advances to suppliers, advances to employees etc.
• Preparation and submission of monthly assigned accounts' reconciliation report and general ledger accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or any related course.
• With at least 1-3 years of experience in General Accounting. With experience on account reconciliation and system projects assignment
• Knowledge in Life Asia, SUN system and other accounting system.
• Has the ability to multi-task, embrace change and work comfortably in a fast-paced, multi-cultural, and matrix environment.
• With good verbal and written communication skills.
• Willing to work onsite and be assigned in Makati.
