Job Description

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Monitor functional team members including the Shift In-Charge
  • Coordinate and supervise inbound warehouse activities on a daily basis
  • Ensure that parcels are received and endorsed in good quality and within the given SLA
  • Monitor overall productivity of Inbound team and provide regular updates with SOC Operations Lead
  • Manage scheduling of shifting personnel, prepare performance evaluation and conduct coaching session on a regular basis
  • Analyze and coordinate with Manpower Management team for proper allocation of agency personnel
  • Manage day to day escalations and provide solutions for operational issues
  • Coordinate with First mile and Middle mile team on parcel tally and high value item receiving
  • Management of Functional process
  • Support and encourage the team members to put in their best
  • Expected to possess in-depth knowledge of all inbound, sortpack and outbound procedures and know how to use tools and other equipment
  • Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy
  • Supervise and coordinate unloading of inbound shipments, sorting and dispatch of parcels
  • Orderly stacking of product
  • Ensure parcels are processed accurately, timely and free of damage
  • Understands that quality is never to be compromised
  • Ensure that all team members wear protective gear during execution and monitor all team mates to ensure adherence to instructions
  • Ensure Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) will be applied
  • Reporting
  • Provide reports to Mega FM Site Lead when requested
  • Produce internal performance reporting in order that throughput, quality and trends can be monitored and assessed
  • KPI Tracker to be updated and do the reporting during Weekly Operations Review
  • Health and Safety
  • Ensure compliance to all Health and Safety legislation / guidelines for self and staff at all times
  • Carry out internal health and safety audits as and when requested
  • Ensure Good Housekeeping (GHK)standards are maintained at all times
  • Carry out investigations into any accidents or near-miss incidents
  • Communication
  • Conduct regular meetings to the Functional Team on operational targets and achievements
  • Escalate issues to senior management within an appropriate time frame
  • Provide warehouse management with end of day / shift handover information
  • Good communications skills with other group
  • Any other duties as and when identified
  • Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of any Bachelor’s Degree
  • Preferably has 2-5 years of experience in E-commerce, Logistics and Warehousing
  • Has supervisory experience, both for direct and agency employees
  • Keen with details and has background in process improvement
  • Knowledgeable with MS and Google Applications
