As a Data Engineer & Power BI Developer, you will play a pivotal role in our growth strategy by empowering teams with actionable data insights. This role is instrumental in developing dashboards and automations that drive revenue growth, optimize service mixes, and inform staffing decisions across our centers. In addition to your primary responsibilities, you will assist with basic technical needs, such as managing user access, resetting passwords, and providing troubleshooting support, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
-Develop and maintain automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline document management and routine reporting.
-Create, optimize, and sustain intuitive data models and schemas to support our analytics framework using Power BI, enabling leadership to make data-driven decisions.
-Design compelling Power BI dashboards and reports that translate complex data into actionable insights for field sales, daily labor hours, marketing performance, and lead conversion.
-Support the integration and automation of data from Microsoft 365, Zenoti, and other platforms, utilizing API connections or -Excel-based syncing as needed.
-Assist with technical needs such as managing user access, resetting passwords, and basic troubleshooting.
-Maintain comprehensive documentation for data workflows, dashboards, and automated processes.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including field operations, marketing, and HR, to identify reporting requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business objectives.
-Provide operational training and user documentation to ensure tea m me mbers can effectively leverage dashboards and tools.
Tech Stack:
-Primary Platforms: Microsoft 365, Zenoti, Dynamics 365
-Automation Tools: Power Automate
-Visualization & Reporting: Power BI (including DAX for data transformation)
-Collaboration Tools: Slack, Microsoft Teams
Experience & Skills Required:
-3–5 years of experience designing and developing Power BI dashboards across business domains, with proficiency in DAX and SQL for data manipulation.
-Experience integrating data from multiple platforms, including scenarios requiring Excel-based syncing for platforms without API connections.
-Strong understanding of relational database systems (e.g., MS SQL Server) and data modeling.
-Basic technical troubleshooting skills, including managing user access and resetting passwords.
-Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate insights clearly, reflecting Evolve’s values of teamwork, empathy, and accountability.
