Roles & Responsibilities:
• Manage the client’s Network and Security devices remotely.
• Troubleshooting Routing, Switching & Security issues.
• Adapt/Suggest any Network design changes as and when needed.
• Responding to emergency situations and performing effective troubleshooting during production outages. Lead and manage the incident calls. Escalate the issues to OEMs/Vendors.
• Troubleshoot all networking problems to ensure minimum downtime & maximum availability.
• Perform Change Management and Incident management as per the process.
• Documentation for all the technologies used for customers setup.
• Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for designing and planning network communication systems.
• Ready to work in 24*7 Shifts and able to manage the shift independently.
• Work independently with minimum or no supervision
• Lead and mentor L1 team members
Job Qualifications:
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in switching, routing, and firewall
• Must have at least 3 years' experience installing Palo Alto Security Appliances
• Must have considerable knowledge and experience in setting up Cisco network components, specifically Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches, Nexus 9K Series Switches, Cisco Routers, WLC and Cisco ISE.
• Thorough knowledge of Panorama, WildFire, Global Protect VPN.
• Ability to investigate complex WAN and Datacenter LAN issues in a multiproduct environment.
• Knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, TRUNKS, VLANs, Port-Channel, Static routing, HSRP, VRRP, MST
• Networking topologies and protocols. Examples being MPLS, VRF, SIP, Traffic Shaping/ QoS, VPN
• Considerable knowledge and experience in Site-To-Site VPN and RA VPN technology, VSS and VPC
• Familiarity with Data Centre environment and hosted deployments/cloud
• Excellent communication skills –both written and verbal and with strong vendor management skills
• Problem solving skills, multitasking, working well under pressure and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work in a 24/7 365 shift role.
• Has experience with ITIL practices.
• CCNP Certification preferred.
• Palo Alto Networks certification preferred (PCNSA or PCNSE)
• Fortinet Firewall Experience is desired.
Network Products Experience:
• Cisco Routers – 8300, 4400, 4300, ASR1K
• Cisco Switches – 9500, 9400, 9300, 4500, 3800, 2900
• Cisco WLC 9800, Access Points 9120, 3802, 2802
• Palo Alto Firewalls – PA-3200, PA-1400, VM Firewalls
• NMS - Solarwinds, Kiwi Syslog and Netflow Analyze
