We are seeking a Senior Software Developer for our client, a company that develops and provides a technology platform designed for identity verification and onboarding for the financial services industry.
Qualifications & experience
• 5+ years proven experience working as a Developer, with experience in .NET, React, Web API.
• Knowledge on AWS resources like EC2, SQS, SNS, Lambda, ECS and S3.
• Ability to work under pressure, in a results-based environment.
• Strong skills in analytical, logical, and lateral thinking.
• Ability to work independently at a high level without constant supervision.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a determined drive to achieve results.
• Experience migrating from relational to non-relational is a plus.
• Experience migrating from .Net framework to .Net core is a plus
Tasks & responsibilities
Technical Delivery
• Work to turn stories into clean, well-tested code.
• Own and complete assigned work in Sprint Releases, including the creation of release artifacts and release tasks (Octopus releases).
• Actively participate in essential scrum meetings e.g. sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint review/backlog
• grooming, retrospective, product showcases etc.
• Deploy and maintain software across multiple environments using CI/CD tools.
• Proactively investigate performance and usage in collaboration with peers.
• Collaborate with the Dev Leads, CTO, Product Owner and Product Manager to contribute to the delivery of the
• Product roadmap.
• Effectively create and maintain infrastructure as code on AWS foundations across all environments.
• Continually look to identify gaps and improve application and infrastructure to support product scalability.
• Maintain overall source code quality for all applications using code reviews, software standard practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams from Product, DevOps, Implementations and Support
• Report incidents that occur in accordance with the Incident Management Policy.
• Protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data, including client data and company data.
• Support the onboarding of new staff or upskilling of junior team members, by providing guidance, training and advice when required.
