We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong
background in Kubernetes, Helm charts, Docker, and YAML configurations, with a proven track record in CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our infrastructure, ensuring seamless deployment processes, and contributing to the overall performance and reliability of our systems.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Architecture and Automation:
o Design, maintain, and evolve architectures and automation for zero-downtime deployments.
• Containerization with Docker:
o Work with Docker and Kubernetes to scale and monitor microservices.
• CI/CD Pipeline Development:
o Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
o Use tools like Helm and GitLab CI to automate deployments.
o Work with our development teams to help them set up automation pipelines and solve problems.
• Complex and Distributed Systems:
o Handle complex and distributed enterprise systems based on HCL 9.1 installed in cloud Kubernetes
clusters.
o Ensure seamless integration and operation of these systems within the cloud environment.
• Collaboration:
o Collaborate with other DevOps engineers to make the best solution possible.
o Participate in an on-call schedule and act in a server/technical support capacity to the team.
Core Qualifications and Education
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
2-3 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm charts, Docker, and YAML configurations.
Proven experience in CI/CD pipeline development and management using Jenkins.
Strong knowledge of cloud services and network configuration.
Proficiency in relational database management (Oracle, Postgres, MySQL).
Experience with Unix systems, shell scripting, and make files.
Familiarity with handling complex and distributed systems in cloud environments.
Experience with APM tools such as New Relic and Dynatrace.
Knowledge of logging aggregators like ELK or Splunk.
Ability to monitor and test performance across the application stack.
Basic knowledge of Akamai CDN, including Kona and Image Manager.
Experience with performance monitoring tools and techniques.
Familiarity with HCL 9.1 and its integration within cloud Kubernetes clusters is a plus.
Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., Kubernetes (CKA), Docker, Jenkins, or Oracle Database) are a
plus.
