As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking an experienced Sales Manager for our Investor Relations team to lead our efforts in building and maintaining strong relationships with investors, driving fundraising initiatives, and ensuring effective communication with our key stakeholders.
Position Overview:
The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to attract and retain investors, preparing and delivering compelling presentations, and ensuring timely and accurate reporting. This leadership role will be pivotal in supporting the company’s capital-raising initiatives and aligning investor relations activities with the company’s overall strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Investor Communication: Lead the preparation of investor presentations, pitch decks, and communication materials, including letters, email updates, and newsletters, to ensure regular and transparent communication with current and prospective investors.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Oversee the collection, analysis, and presentation of financial, market, and portfolio data to support fundraising efforts and investor updates. Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of quarterly and annual investor reports.
• Fundraising Initiatives: Manage the preparation of materials for capital-raising events, including brochures, presentations, and schedules, while collaborating with senior leadership to secure investor commitments.
• Due Diligence: Facilitate the due diligence process by coordinating responses to investor inquiries, gathering necessary documentation, and ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Market Research: Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, competitor performance, and investor behavior to inform sales and fundraising strategies.
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to align investor relations activities with broader company goals and ensure consistency in communication.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional and individual investors, serving as a trusted point of contact.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 7+ years of experience in investor relations, financial analysis, or institutional sales, preferably within the financial services or lending industry.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and key financial metrics.
• Proven experience in capital raising and managing investor relationships.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial information for diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other financial reporting tools.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience in a senior sales or investor relations role.
