Job Title: HR Generalist

About the job:

As an HR Generalist, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive HR support and guidance to both the organization and its employees, from addressing employees' concerns and queries to ensuring that the organization complies with relevant employment regulations. The HR Generalist is responsible for maintaining a harmonious and productive work environment.

Some of the roles and responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining accurate employee records, ensuring data integrity in HR systems.
  • Process and document employee movement, including but not limited to regularization, salary increase, transfer, promotion, etc., including clearance procedures.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for addressing employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary issues, with a focus on conflict resolution and promoting a positive work environment.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with employment laws, HR policies, practices, and standards.
  • Understand and carry out procedural due process, as well as procedures for just and authorized causes, and ensure compliance with labor regulations.
  • Collaborate in creating and executing employee relations policies and procedures that comply with company values and legal regulations.
  • Stay informed and knowledgeable about Philippine labor laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure the company's adherence to legal requirements.
  • Conducts audit checks to ensure team compliance with company policies and labor/ government standards and requirements.
  • Involved in performance management, employee retention, and recruitment initiatives.
  • Oversee the performance evaluation procedure, encompassing goal establishment, performance assessment, and providing feedback.
  • Ensure the effective execution of various HR-related activities, initiatives, and services and the successful delivery of assigned projects and tasks.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives that effectively boost employee morale and drive positive results.
  • Carry out exit interviews and offer insights to management for enhancing employee retention.

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resources Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum 4 years experience in Human Resources (HR), with a focus on employee and labor relations.
  • Skilled in various HR functions, including recruitment, compensation and benefits, employee engagement, and employee relations.
  • Required: Knowledge and experience in Philippine labor law.
  • Experience in developing and executing strategies related to labor relations.
  • Excels in report writing, including policies, procedures, board papers, and submission requests.
  • Able to facilitate administrative hearings.
  • Experience in representing the management before government labor agencies.
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Capable of effectively collaborating and delegating tasks while excelling under pressure.
  • Proactive, hardworking and flexible, with an ability to work with minimum supervision.
