Role Description: The Associate Director role is responsible for spearheading initiatives to establish a robust IT infrastructure, improve internal processes, and foster competence through effective systems and operations. Additionally, this position entails overseeing, managing, and addressing IT-related issues while providing troubleshooting support for internal employees.
Roles & Responsibilities
· Evaluate current technology operations and align them with the established tech roadmap.
· Establish a well-defined system maintenance schedule to ensure the uninterrupted functionality and efficiency of technological equipment and software.
· Allocate budgets for upgrades, configurations, or new systems as per annual requirements.
· Maintain appropriate standards, methods, controls, and procedures for the use of IT and associated resources.
· Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and action plans to achieve business goals.
· Continuously assess the company’s IT environment, proposing plans to leverage IT advantages and maintain its leading position.
· Oversee technical solutions, information security, and continuity planning for clients.
· Assume responsibility for team development and their growth within the function.
· Manage the day-to-day activities of direct reports, fostering their development and growth in the function.
Expected/Key Results
· Ensure that software and IT functions are operating at optimal levels.
· Meet the targeted success rate for all technology transformation projects, ensuring they achieve desired results within scope, budget, and time constraints.
· Manage and meet SLAs for technology, including incident management, proactive monitoring, and maintaining a self-healing, redundant, and resilient network.
· Ensure IT uptime for all operations.
· Build new client relationships and sustain existing client relationships.
· Implement cost management strategies to meet headcount, attrition, and budget numbers for the function.
· Build strong internal stakeholder relationships
· People Engagement and Development - Retention, development and succession planning for own function
Competencies & Skills:
· Exceptional client relationship management skills, coupled with excellent communication skills.
· Proficient in strategic software development leadership.
· Extensive experience in project management and solution design.
· Ability to analyze existing technology operations and align them with strategic roadmaps.
· Proficiency in driving the implementation of IT policies and systems to support organizational strategies.
· Strong background in information security and business continuity planning.
· In-depth knowledge of IT operations and software development life cycle.
· Proven ability to meet success rates for technology transformation projects.

Preferred Educational Qualifications
· Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Work Experience
· Minimum of 12-15 years of progressive experience in software development, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
