About the role:
This role is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting enrollment data provided by our insureds. The analyst works closely with underwriting and finance to ensure the data is correct and matches booked premium to date.
This role is essential in capturing enrollment exposure for the Subcontractor Default Insurance book so Underwriters can make more informed decisions, optimize processes, and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collect and clean data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, correlations, and anomalies. Look for operational efficiencies.
• Prepare and present detailed reports and visualizations to communicate findings to the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making.
• Assist in the development and implementation of data management processes and best practices.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in the insurance industry.
• Strong knowledge and experience of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Knowledge of insurance industry practices, including underwriting and claims processes.
• Understanding of risk assessment and actuarial principles.
