Job Overview:
The Marketing Officer will support the marketing department in the execution of campaigns, projects, and day-to-day activities. This entry-level role requires an organized, detail-oriented individual who can handle administrative tasks, assist with content creation, conduct research, and contribute to the overall success of marketing efforts. The Marketing Officer will work closely with other team members to ensure marketing activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Campaign Support:

• Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, both digital and traditional.

• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure campaign timelines are met.

• Help track and report on the performance of ongoing campaigns.

• Content Creation:

• Assist in creating content for various marketing channels, including social media, email newsletters, websites, and blogs.

• Help maintain content calendars and ensure timely distribution of content.

• Proofread and edit marketing materials for accuracy and consistency.

• Social Media Management:

• Manage and update company social media profiles (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).

• Schedule and post social media content, including images, videos, and written posts.

• Monitor engagement and assist in responding to customer inquiries on social platforms.

• Market Research:

• Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.

• Help gather data on customer feedback and analyze insights to assist in future marketing strategies.

• Administrative Support:

• Organize and maintain marketing files, including digital assets, templates, and reports.

• Assist in organizing events, webinars, and promotional activities.

• Handle day-to-day administrative tasks like scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing marketing materials.

• Communication & Coordination:

• Act as a point of contact for marketing-related inquiries.

• Liaise with external vendors, partners, and agencies to support marketing initiatives.

• Assist with internal communication and ensure smooth coordination among team members.

• Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Support:

• Help maintain and update customer databases.

• Assist in email marketing campaigns, including the preparation and distribution of newsletters or promotional emails.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or working toward a degree).

• Previous internship or work experience in marketing is a plus, but not required.

• Basic understanding of marketing principles and digital marketing tools.

• Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
