About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented CPA/Senior Bookkeeper to join our team. This role requires a strong background in accounting, bookkeeping, and e-commerce platforms, specifically Amazon. The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge of accounting tools and systems, ensuring accurate financial reporting, streamlined processes, and compliance with applicable standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and reconcile financial records in QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, and Wave Accounting.
• Manage and track e-commerce financial operations, including Amazon transactions, fees, refunds, and payouts.
• Ensure accurate inventory and cost tracking using SellerCloud and SellerBoard (preferred).
• Process payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Conduct financial audits and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve financial processes and systems.
• Provide strategic insights and advice based on financial data.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.
• Proven experience in bookkeeping, with a strong focus on e-commerce platforms.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, and Wave Accounting.
• Familiarity with SellerCloud and SellerBoard preferred.
• Amazon experience is mandatory, including knowledge of its financial operations, fee structures, and reporting tools.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Experience:
• Experience working with small to medium-sized businesses in an e-commerce environment.
• Familiarity with U.S. tax laws and financial regulations.
• Hands-on experience in financial software integration and automation.
