IT Sales Executive

An IT Sales Executive job involves selling IT solutions or services that solve specific problems or address particular needs of customers. The job requires a combination of sales, marketing, and customer relationship management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities through research, prospecting, lead generation and networking

• Understand customer needs and requirements to provide solutions

• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers

• Prepare proposals and negotiate contracts with customers

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of solutions

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders

• Meet and exceed sales targets and goals

• Updating CRM on opportunities and activities

• Continuously learn about new products, services, and industry trends

• May be required to attend events like vendor-sponsored training and activities, events of organizations, and other training to generate sales opportunities and ensure that product knowledge is always updated

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or any business and IT-related field

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the technology industry

• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

• Ability to understand customer needs and develop customized solutions

• Excellent time management and organizational skills

• Willingness to travel as required

• Knowledge of CRM software and other sales tools

Additional Skills (not required, but a plus):

• Experience with Odoo, NetSuite, Google Cloud Platform, or other cloud platforms.

• Familiarity with Experience with project management.
