Position Description:
The Finance Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the organization's financial health and compliance with tax laws and regulations. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills to effectively manage tax-related matters and treasury functions while supporting the organization's overall financial objectives.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Financial Planning & Analysis: developing financial plans and budgets in line with strategic goals and providing insightful analysis to support executive decision-making.
- Financial Reporting: overseeing the timely, accurate, and compliant preparation and distribution of financial statements, management reports, and other relevant financial information to critical stakeholders.
- Cash Management: overseeing cash flow and treasury functions, including cash flow forecasting & monitoring and managing relationships with banks.
- Tax & Compliance: ensuring compliance with tax and applicable regulations and managing relationships with external auditors and regulatory institutions.
- Risk Management: identifying and mitigating financial and operational risks to the company and establishing strong internal controls to safeguard the company’s assets and interests.
- Strategy Planning & Management: Be an effective part of the senior management team in developing and executing the company’s strategic plan and a highly credible and capable finance leader for the finance and accounting team.
