We are seeking a motivated Virtual Assistant and Client Success Specialist with strong communication skills and experience in technical support to assist in sales efforts, client onboarding, and day-to-day operations for our client, who owns a web-based software company monitoring legislative activity in the California legislature. This part-time role will also include customer success initiatives and internal software maintenance to ensure seamless client experiences and satisfaction.

The successful candidate will work during Central Time, either 9 AM - 1 PM or 1 PM - 5 PM. The client provides access to a member portal with resources, including video tutorials and PDF guides, to support the training process. Clear communication channels, a defined role, and necessary tools will be established for the hire.

This position has the potential to eventually evolve into a full-time role.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Learn and become proficient with the client’s software to effectively support clients and internal operations.
2. Create video tutorials and job aids to enhance the client onboarding experience.
3. Make outbound calls to lobbying groups and politicians in California to promote and demonstrate the value of the software.
4. Provide hands-on client support, including training sessions, troubleshooting technical issues, responding to support tickets, and documenting software bugs.
5. Utilize MS Office Suite and Google Workspace (G Suite) for managing tasks, tracking progress, and streamlining communication.
6. Communicate clearly and professionally in English to ensure high-quality interactions with both clients and tea m me mbers.
7. Assist in the technical maintenance and updates of the software to enhance functionality and user experience.
8. Support the internal team by managing email automation tasks using the software’s CRM.
9. Contribute to customer success strategies to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and engagement.

Key Qualifications:
- Proficiency in English with strong communication skills.
- Experience in technical support and cold calling.
- Technical skills with familiarity in using various tools (coding experience not required).
- Flexibility to adapt to day-to-day activities, including creating tutorials and job aids.
- Sales skills, particularly for client onboarding.
- Experience with MS Office Suite and Google Workspace.
- Ability to work independently as a self-starter with minimal direction.
- Interest or experience in U.S. politics is a bonus.
