As a Data Modelling Analyst in the Global HR Data Management Team, you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making processes and ensuring optimal utilization of our data assets. Your expertise in data analysis, interpretation, modelling, and presentation will contribute to the enhancement of our data-driven strategies and effective reporting solutions.

The team

Global HR Data Management supports ING’s Global HR domain by connecting, aligning, coordinating, and standardizing HR data across the different HR processes. The team has the purpose to deliver undisputable and compliant data to enable bank-wide operational flows, fact-based decision making and compliancy to external regulators.

The team that you will join is the Global HR Data Management team and you will be working closely with the HR Data Lake DevOps team. These teams are distributed over the Netherlands, Belgium, Philippines and India. With the team, you will collaborate in an agile manner on the Global HR priorities for the HR Data Lake and GHR Data Management reporting priorities.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Work closely with team members to assist with exploratory data analysis, model development and data quality improvements.
  • Work closely with data users to understand their data-related requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into functional requirements for the Global HR Data Lake.
  • Improve, expand, and document the Global HR Domain data model.
  • Assist the organization in making strategic data-related decisions by analysing, manipulating, tracking, internally managing and reporting data.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and present results and insights in a clear manner.
  • Maintain business terms and definitions, including data quality requirements and meta data
  • Support defining requirements for Data Quality, Data Lineage and Data Governance
