Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Email Marketing Strategist to join our team. This role focuses on onsite acquisition and optimization, with a primary goal of driving revenue through effective email and SMS onsite acquisition strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing, data analysis, and experience with various marketing technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement email and SMS marketing strategies to acquire new customers and engage existing users

- Conduct bi-monthly A/B testing to optimize email and SMS campaigns

- Create and manage monthly targeting campaigns for existing customers/users and potential new customers

- Optimize onsite acquisition strategies to increase email and SMS subscriber base

- Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights to improve conversion rates and revenue

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of marketing initiatives

- Manage and optimize forms for lead generation and customer acquisition

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in email and SMS marketing

- Email Platforms: Klaviyo, SendLane

- SMS Platforms: Klaviyo, SendLane, Attentive

- Form Building: Attentive, Klaviyo, SendLane

- Website Platforms: Shopify, WordPress

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

The successful candidate will be responsible for tracking and improving the following KPIs:

- Conversion Rate % per form

- Revenue $ per form/brand

- Revenue $ per new user/brand

- Revenue $ per existing user/brand

- Number of new email subscribers per brand (broken out by store/blog)

- Number of new SMS subscribers per brand (broken out by store/blog)

Reporting and Analysis

- Prepare and present weekly and monthly scorecards

- Set and track weekly and monthly targets

- Provide data-driven recommendations for ongoing optimization

Qualifications

- 3+ years of experience in email and SMS marketing

- Proven track record of increasing conversions and revenue through digital marketing channels

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions

- Proficiency in A/B testing methodologies and best practices

- Experience with email and SMS marketing platforms, particularly Klaviyo, SendLane, and Attentive

- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, especially Shopify and WordPress

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Strong project management and organizational abilities

Desired Skills

- Experience with customer segmentation and personalization strategies

- Knowledge of email deliverability best practices

- Familiarity with marketing automation and customer journey mapping

- Understanding of GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other relevant regulations
