We are looking for an IT Technical Support with excellent analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal communication skills. You will provide hardware and software technical support and perform roles related to IMS/POS rollout and implementation.

What you’ll do

  1. Support the IMS/POS rollout and implementation
  2. Provide technical support across the company and its affiliates, whether on-site or remotely
  3. Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, scanners and
  4. POS systems, as well as setting up and configuring mobile devices (phones, tablets)
  5. Deploy or setup computer equipment to other company locations (stations, depots, sales
  6. offices, etc) when required (field duty).
  7. Liaise with vendors, suppliers, for maintenance, repairs, or other IT requirements and projects.
  8. Ensure all incidents and service requests are properly logged in the ticketing system.
  9. Ensure ticket SLAs are met and end-users are properly updated.
  10. Assist with evaluating and testing new hardware, software, and other equipment that may be
  11. considered for deployment or certify for standard use.
  12. Maintain ITS inventory databases to ensure completeness and accuracy -
  13. hardware & software assets, mobile devices, services, subscriptions, consumables, etc.
  14. Assume primary responsibility in physical organization of hardware, supplies, & other items on
  15. hand (stockroom), and assists with the disposal, donation or remarketing of decommissioned IT assets
  16. Performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time related to IT and deployment support

What we’re looking for

  • Background in information technology, computer science, and related areas
  • At least 1 year of IT support experience
  • Understanding of the IT infrastructure: software and hardware (macOS and Windows)
  • Experience in managing point of sale (POS) and inventory management systems
  • Amenable to do field work supporting stations within Davao City and nearby provinces.
  • Demonstrated experience in customer service
