Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a Operations Assistant Analyst.

Job Summary

Reporting under the Plant Manager, the Operations Assistant (OAA) ensures compliant and organized document control aligned with existing and implement company policies and management systems, including but not limited to Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO 9001:2015 (QMS), HACCP, HALAL, and FSSC. The OAA stands as the document and data control custodian, and manages enrolled and controlled documents. The OAA coordinates with all Department Heads and shall lead document review. On top of this, the OAA administers and facilitates budget administration, disbursement and liquidation of the revolving fund.

Ii. Duties, Responsibilities And Authorities

The Operations Assistant shall:

  • Act as the Plant Document and Information Controller (PDIC), and manage enrolled and controlled documents from leading reviews, managing new & old documents, enrolment, internal audit, and obsolescence processes, in compliance with implemented management systems;
  • Coordinate with Department Heads, majorly with the Quality Assurance Manager, in initializing document reviews and alignment with updates on implemented policies and standards related, but not limited to, Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO 9001:2015 (QMS), HACCP, HALAL, and FSSC;
  • Form part of the Internal Audit team and ensure compliance on established management systems including, but not limited to, EHS Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment, Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO 9001:2015 (QMS), HACCP, HALAL,FSSC; and all other company policies, as applicable, focusing on documents review; and provide consultations to the rest of the team on the DDCC processes;
  • Manage allocation, disbursement and liquidation of revolving fund, and coordinate with Finance Manager and Plant Accountants on related matters; and assist the Plant Manager in administering budget allocation of the Office of the Plant Manager;
  • Represent the organization, as needed, in functional congregations, especially in liaising with related Center of Excellence units including but not limited to, Corporate Industrial Engineering, and Corporate Quality Assurance, and Operations Assistants from different URC BCFG Plants;
  • Perform other tasks and functions as may be delegated by the Immediate Superior.

  • Functional and administrative reporting line as subordinate of Plant Manager

IV. JOB SPECIFICATIONS

  • Graduate of engineering or management degree, preferably with license/certification on Industrial Engineering. Lean Six Sigma certification or related recognition is an advantage (for career progression considerations);
  • With or without previous experience; exposure and knowledge in data and document control, in compliance with relevant management systems in the food industry, including but not limited to Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO 9001:2015 (QMS), HACCP, HALAL and FSSC, is an advantage;
  • Keen to details, and has an extensive exposure in data and document control, and budget administration, coupled with good communication and business presentation skills; and
  • With proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and Teams, at minimum), and SAP; and
  • Has a team-player, customer-centric, and innovative work attitude
