We are looking for an experienced SEO Specialist with a strong background in WordPress and Google Ads to help increase the visibility and search ranking of our RV parks and campgrounds. Our goal is to drive more traffic to our websites and improve our presence in Google search results, particularly in local searches. The specialist will focus on optimizing our websites and Google Business Profiles, addressing technical SEO issues, and improving our local search rankings.
Responsibilities:
Optimize Google Business Profiles for each campground, ensuring they are fully completed with accurate and up-to-date information, including photos, descriptions, and business details.
Conduct local SEO strategies to improve search rankings, focusing on relevant keywords for campgrounds and RV parks.
Ensure consistent NAP (Name, Address, Phone Number) across all local citations and online directories (Yelp, TripAdvisor, camping directories, etc.).
Perform a technical SEO audit to identify and fix issues such as slow loading times, broken links, and missing meta tags.
Set up and optimize Google Search Console, ensuring sitemaps are submitted and indexation issues are addressed.
Implement on-page SEO improvements (title tags, meta descriptions, headers, etc.) to better target relevant local and industry-specific keywords.
Develop strategies to encourage and manage Google reviews to improve online reputation and search rankings.
Track and report on SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console, making ongoing recommendations for improvements.
Run and optimize Google Ads campaigns to drive additional targeted traffic.
Collaborate on WordPress website development and maintenance, ensuring SEO best practices are integrated into web development processes.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in local SEO with a focus on small businesses or hospitality.
Familiarity with Google Business Profiles, Google Search Console, and relevant SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.).
Strong knowledge of on-page and technical SEO best practices.
Experience with WordPress for web development and content management.
Proficiency in Google Ads, with a track record of running successful ad campaigns.
Experience in optimizing websites for mobile and improving site speed.
