Job Title: ConnectWise Automate Automation Expert

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled ConnectWise Automate Automation Expert to join our Managed Services team. In this role, you will focus on building, optimizing, and automating processes within the ConnectWise

Automate platform to enhance operational efficiency and improve service delivery. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in ConnectWise Automate (formerly LabTech) and is passionate about automating IT processes to streamline Managed Services and Vulnerability Remediation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Automation Development: Design, develop, and implement automation workflows within the ConnectWise Automate platform to enhance IT operations.
  • Script Writing & Customization: Write and customize scripts to automate tasks such as patch management, monitoring, and remediation.
  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve existing automation and workflow processes within ConnectWise Automate.
  • System Monitoring & Maintenance: Continuously monitor the performance of the Automate system and ensure its smooth operation.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Managed Services (MS) team to understand their automation needs and develop solutions.
  • Troubleshooting: Provide advanced troubleshooting for ConnectWise Automate-related issues and ensure high availability of automated processes.
  • Training & Documentation: Provide training for the internal team on new automations and maintain comprehensive documentation of automation processes.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience with ConnectWise Automate (LabTech), with a focus on automation and process improvement.
  • Scripting Skills: Proficiency in PowerShell or other relevant scripting languages.
  • Knowledge of Managed Services: Experience working within a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment is highly desirable.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to identify and resolve technical issues within the ConnectWise Automate platform.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ConnectWise Automate.
  • Certifications in ConnectWise Automate or relevant technologies.
  • Knowledge of ITIL best practices.
