The Impact

The Data Delivery Operations group in S&P Global focuses on providing clients with world class service and operational excellence. The initiative focuses on leveraging S&P Global’s highly regarded expertise in financial markets to develop innovative solutions to service client needs. The Data Delivery team is the strategic delivery channel for the Market Intelligence Division and expected to continue to rapidly grow and expand its responsibilities and value creation for the firm in the coming years.

Responsibilities

As a member of the Delivery Operations team, you will play a critical role in maintaining, improving, and expanding our Data Delivery service.

You will work cross-functionally across Data Delivery & Product agile teams to facilitate a market leading customer experience through our onboarding process.

They will be responsible for creating and supporting a wide range of file configurations servicing financial datasets, complex business logic, formatting, scheduling/triggering, and publishing. The candidate should be comfortable working in a multisystem environment and be able to configure and test file configurations and API code samples through the QA & UAT environments.

Core Responsibilities

  • Creating ultra-bespoke file configurations
  • Technical troubleshooting & problem solving
  • Providing technical consultancy for API integration
  • Owning the monthly KPI Reporting and generating insights based on the operational metrics
  • Running client migration projects from legacy systems to the Data Delivery platform
  • Engagement with senior clients & stakeholders
  • Drive process optimization and automation
  • Documentation and process mapping
  • Signal, and write specs for application issues & discuss improvements with the Files Product & Development team
  • Project management & project reporting
  • Running the Agile process for prioritization, coordination, and planning

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, proactive and demonstrates a good understanding of IT & development methodologies. The role also requires experience with scripting and data modelling as well as being able to configure operational tooling with predefined variables.

Key Requirement

  • 4-8 years relevant experience, preferably with a FinTech, Information Technology, Finance or Data background with client interfacing experience.
  • Expertise with AzureDevOps, Salesforce, Splunk, MS Excel, & PowerBI
  • Excellent XML, Python, JSON, SQL, MQL, SPL & Snowflake skills
  • Excellent data analysis skills & understanding data storage, structures & modeling
  • Excellent understanding of software systems and development of enterprise applications
  • Highly motivated, disciplined, detail-oriented, takes initiative and works well in a team
  • Strong time management skills and organized with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Strong English communications skills with clear, structured, and professional in both writing and speech with experience presenting

Optional Requirements

  • Working experience with Agile/Scrum/Kanban & LEAN
  • Expertise in analyzing and understanding client needs and translating requirements into solutions.
  • Excellent project management & project reporting skills
