Overview

This position is responsible for processing incoming procurement requirements, for the negotiations of price and terms that will be most advantageous to DITO, and for building, coordinating, and maintaining strategic vendor relationships to support DITO’s sourcing needs.

Functions and Responsibilities

  • Manages and facilitates the Network Resource Cooperation procurement projects, such as leasing and purchasing of towers, optical cables, IBS.
  • Responsible for preparing the necessary procurement materials and documents.
  • Provide guidance to ensure efficient bidding process.
  • Responsible for negotiating prices and contract terms for network resources.
  • Manage PO issuance to ensure agile business process and maximum efficiency for DITO.
  • Sourcing, assessment, and evaluation of vendors.
  • Responsible for aggregating and analyzing procurement project data.
  • Contributes to the identification of opportunities for improving the operations of the Procurement Department.

Job Skills & Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in any business-related or communications related field.
  • Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job, comparable to 5+ years.
  • With at least 3 years of buying experience in communications/technology procurement.
  • Has a deep knowledge of local practices and procedures to handle, organize, and coordinate procurement of network resource.
  • With good negotiation and excellent communication skills.
  • With a sense of urgency and can handle pressure.
  • With reporting and data analysis background.
  • Has experience in handling internal and external clients.
