We are looking for a talented Infrastructure Systems Administrator within our Manila operations. You will be a part of the Hosting Operations team designed to support businesses via 14x5 operations focused on delivering high availability of IT services. Services includes System Administration, Server performance, configuration, monitoring, creation, data backup and recovery.

In this role, you will work closely with technology suppliers and be responsible for cultivating relationships with internal partners and service consumers. Your primary objectives will involve implementing innovative solutions and fostering a culture of ongoing process enhancement. You will have direct interactions with our esteemed partners, including Amazon and Microsoft, as well as internal technical experts.

What will you do as a Hosting Operations System Administrator?

  • Ensuring all infrastructure (on premise/in cloud) is continually and optimally available and operational, supporting global 14 x 5 services and digital commerce.
  • Accountable for server creation, operation, back up and restorations.
  • Manage capacity planning for all services, employing industry best practices for storage, backup, patching, security and disaster recovery
  • Ensuring that systems are up-to-date, using automation at every possibly opportunity for systems upgrades, refreshes and configuration
  • Operate under agreed policies, processes and procedures, underpinned by ITIL best practices



What makes you the ideal candidate in this role?

You would be a perfect fit for this role if you possess approximately three years of substantial hands-on experience in managing hosting services (Cloud, On Premise, Hybrid). Moreover, you should be technically adept and demonstrate a high level of proficiency in two or more infrastructure specialties:

  • Experience of operating using AWS/Azure infrastructure
  • Virtualization Technology Experience using VMWare and/or Hyper-V
  • Advanced and proven Windows OS (Windows Server 2012 and Up) and Linux OS (RHEL, CentOS) skillset.
  • Experience with managing O365, Active Directory and deploying GPOs
  • Experience with Server Platform Services, Monitoring & Storage platform e.g Cloudflare, Okta, Panzura and Site 24x7.

Furthermore, having experience, knowledge, or expertise in the following areas would provide you with a competitive edge:

  • Experience with the following AWS features: EC2, ECS, ELB, EFS, RDS, S3, VPC, Route 53, CloudWatch, WAF.

Desired Certifications:

  • AWS Certified Associate SysOps Administrator or AWS Certified Associate DevOps Administrator. Or AWS Certified Associate Solutions Architect.
