- Maintains general cleanliness and orderliness in JIRO by cleaning the kitchen area, the bar and the dining area - sanitizing countertops, wiping the tables clean, arranging the chairs, sweeping and mopping the floors and maintaining the cleanliness of the store
- Cleans and sanitizes dishes, utensils and other cooking equipment;
- Assists in the food preparation by preparing the ingredients and doing mise en place;
- Serves coffee, other beverages and food to customers;
- Does the marketing of ingredients (raw materials and dry goods) from selected stores
- Runs errands as may be assigned and authorized by the Operations Manager,
- Keeps track of the inventory of ingredients and cleaning and packaging materials;
- Complies with health and safety regulations by maintaining a sanitized and orderly work
scheduled deep cleaning, proper pest control by setting up of traps;
- Sees to it that equipment operate properly and reports to the Operations Manager any
- Provides good customer service to the customers;
- Stays informed and knowledgeable about menu offering; and
- Takes stewardship of the kitchen and bar utensils and equipment.
- At least high school graduate;
- Preferably with at least six (6) months relevant work experience in the food and
- Must be knowledgeable about the basics of food and beverage preparation;
- Knowledgeable in using different kitchen, baking and bar equipment;
- Knowledgeable about the proper cleaning, upkeeping and maintenance of kitchen and
- Have background in proper food and kitchen safety standards;
