  • Maintains general cleanliness and orderliness in JIRO by cleaning the kitchen area, the bar and the dining area - sanitizing countertops, wiping the tables clean, arranging the chairs, sweeping and mopping the floors and maintaining the cleanliness of the store

throughout the operations;

  • Cleans and sanitizes dishes, utensils and other cooking equipment;
  • Assists in the food preparation by preparing the ingredients and doing mise en place;
  • Serves coffee, other beverages and food to customers;
  • Does the marketing of ingredients (raw materials and dry goods) from selected stores

whenever required;

  • Runs errands as may be assigned and authorized by the Operations Manager,
  • Keeps track of the inventory of ingredients and cleaning and packaging materials;
  • Complies with health and safety regulations by maintaining a sanitized and orderly work

environment in JIRO before, during and after operations which includes regularly

scheduled deep cleaning, proper pest control by setting up of traps;

  • Sees to it that equipment operate properly and reports to the Operations Manager any

damaged equipment that need prompt fixing;

  • Provides good customer service to the customers;
  • Stays informed and knowledgeable about menu offering; and
  • Takes stewardship of the kitchen and bar utensils and equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least high school graduate;
  • Preferably with at least six (6) months relevant work experience in the food and

beverage industry or any job title with similar functions.

  • Must be knowledgeable about the basics of food and beverage preparation;
  • Knowledgeable in using different kitchen, baking and bar equipment;
  • Knowledgeable about the proper cleaning, upkeeping and maintenance of kitchen and

dining space;

  • Have background in proper food and kitchen safety standards;
