Job Title: Part-Time SEO Specialist
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Part-Time SEO Specialist to join our team for two days a week. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in search engine optimization and a proven track record of enhancing website rankings and traffic. You must have personal access to SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz Pro, and BuzzSumo, and be proficient in using these tools to drive SEO success. The SEO Specialist will report directly to the Website Programmer.
Responsibilities:
Keyword Research & Analysis:
Utilize SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz Pro, and BuzzSumo to conduct comprehensive keyword research and competitor analysis.
Backlink Strategy & Campaigns:
Develop and execute effective backlink campaigns to enhance domain authority.
Build and manage a network of high-quality backlinks.
Google Maps Optimization:
Improve Google Map rankings through effective local SEO strategies.
Optimize Google My Business listings and manage local citations.
On-Page & Off-Page SEO:
Implement on-page SEO techniques, including meta tags, content optimization, and internal linking.
Execute off-page SEO strategies to improve website visibility and authority.
Google Ads Management:
Plan, create, and manage Google Ads campaigns to drive targeted traffic.
Optimize ad performance through continuous testing and analysis.
Performance Tracking & Reporting:
Use TimeProof or a similar time-tracking tool to record work hours.
Summarize and report daily work activities.
Monitor website analytics and campaign performance.
Provide regular reports with insights and recommendations.
Collaboration:
Work under the guidance of the Website Programmer.
Collaborate with the development team to implement SEO best practices.
Stay Updated with Industry Trends:
Keep abreast of the latest SEO and digital marketing trends and algorithm updates.
Implement best practices to ensure compliance with search engine guidelines.
Requirements:
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in SEO and digital marketing.
Software Proficiency:
Must have personal access to SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz Pro, and BuzzSumo.
Proficient in using these tools for analysis and strategy development.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
Expertise in backlink building and managing backlink campaigns.
Experience in optimizing for Google Maps and local SEO.
Google Ads Expertise:
Highly experienced in creating and managing Google Ads campaigns.
Knowledge of PPC best practices and conversion optimization.
SEO Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of both on-page and off-page SEO techniques.
Ability to perform technical SEO audits and implement recommendations.
Analytical Skills:
Proficient in using Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
Strong data analysis skills to inform strategy and decision-making.
Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to explain complex SEO concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Time Management:
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Must use TimeProof or a similar tool for time tracking and provide daily work summaries.
Certifications (Preferred):
Google Ads Certification.
SEO certifications or relevant coursework.
