SUMMARY
As a Marketing Assistant, you are the essential link in coordinating and driving our marketing projects from concept to completion. In this role, you collaborate closely with Marketing Managers, content developers, and graphic designers, to ensure all content aligns with KLA Group’s client brands and strategic goals. You manage the flow of content, developing clear assignment sheets, and working with our remote team to meet project deadlines on time, within scope. With your eye for detail and passion for efficiency, you are pivotal in delivering timely, polished, and impactful content that aligns with our clients’ vision and our company’s high standards for excellence. Your assistance is key for Marketing Managers in delivering exceptional client experiences and meeting project goals. You are a valued member of our team.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Support content coordination and workflow
? Expedite content assignments to writers and designers, ensuring projects are distributed promptly.
? Serve as a liaison between Marketing Managers and content teams to keep workflows running smoothly.
? Monitor project progress and collaborate with remote tea m me mbers to manage content schedules and meet deadlines.
? Leverage ChatGPT AI as part of content activities.
2. Collaborate with Marketing Managers to write assignment sheets
? Assist Marketing Managers in writing detailed assignment sheets for content developers and graphic designers.
? Read and listen to content interview transcripts, select the most important information, and use it to write the assignment
sheets.
? Confirm assignment sheets include guidelines regarding brand voice, tone, keywords, SEO direction, and content objectives.
? Collaborate with remote tea m me mbers communicating the content objective and answering questions they have content they
will be creating.
3. Conduct initial review of content
? Conduct initial content reviews to ensure drafts follow assignment instructions, maintain clarity, and align with clients’ brand
voice.
? Provide feedback for revisions before sending the content to Marketing Managers for final approval.
? Assist with content creation as needed.
4. Provide general Marketing Manager administrative support
? Ensure Marketing Managers have their client’s branding assets in place, such as logos and brand guides.
? Assist in organizing and maintaining projects in Microsoft Teams and Teamwork project management software to improve
efficiency.
? Provide additional support to the marketing team as needed for their clients.
5. Other duties as assigned.
KEY SKILLS FOR SUCCESS IN THE MARKETING ASSISTANT ROLE
1. 2 years’ experience as a marketing assistant
2. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
3. Effective communication in remote settings, particularly with writers, designers, and marketing teams.
4. Attention to detail, especially in reviewing content and ensuring it aligns with assignment guidelines.
5. Proficiency in remote collaboration
6. Knowledge of SEO best practices
7. Knowledge of effective social media content strategies
