We are looking for an experienced SEO Specialist to join our in-house team and help elevate our online visibility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both on-page and off-page SEO, keyword research, and SEO-focused content writing. This role requires a self-starter who is detail-oriented, data-driven, and passionate about creating successful SEO strategies.
Job Description:
As an SEO Specialist, you’ll collaborate with our in-house team to optimize our online presence. You will conduct in-depth keyword research, enhance our on-page and off-page SEO, build valuable backlinks, and refine our content strategy. Your goal will be to drive organic traffic and improve search rankings across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
SEO On-Page Optimization
Optimize website elements including meta tags, headings, image alt tags, and internal linking structure.
Perform keyword research and implement target keywords strategically on relevant pages.
Improve site performance with best practices in page load speed, mobile usability, and user experience.
SEO Off-Page Optimization & Link Building
Develop and execute backlink strategies to increase domain authority.
Identify and pursue quality backlinks from credible sources.
Analyze and track competitors’ backlink strategies.
Content Optimization & SEO Writing
Collaborate with content creators to develop SEO-focused content that aligns with brand voice and target audience.
Optimize existing content for target keywords, readability, and engagement.
Assist in content strategy development by identifying content gaps and new keyword opportunities.
Working Hours:
This position is part-time, requiring 20 hours per week. The set working hours will be 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM EST until a smooth workflow is established. After that, there will be an opportunity to switch to a more flexible schedule.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role.
Deep understanding of SEO practices, keyword research tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Keyword Planner), and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console).
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).
Familiarity with content marketing and social media integration.
Strong analytical skills and experience with tracking and improving SEO performance metrics.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with SEO content writing and content management.
Familiarity with on-page and off-page SEO tools and trends.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
