About the National Trade Marketing Manager:
The Trade Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing trade marketing strategies that drive sales growth and brand visibility across various retail channels in the Philippines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement national trade marketing strategies that align with corporate objectives and market dynamics to enhance brand presence and drive sales.
• Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify consumer trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for growth in trade channels.
• Design and execute promotional campaigns and initiatives to drive product visibility and consumer engagement at the point of sale.
• Work closely with the sales team to ensure alignment on trade promotions, pricing strategies, and execution in key accounts.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of trade marketing initiatives, using data analytics to adjust strategies for optimal performance.
• Manage the trade marketing budget efficiently to ensure maximum ROI on promotional activities and initiatives.
• Foster strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and other key stakeholders to enhance collaboration and maximize trade marketing opportunities.
• Lead and mentor the trade marketing team, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team objectives.
Key Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
• At least 8 years of experience in trade marketing or sales within the FMCG industry, with a proven track record of driving successful trade initiatives.
• Strong understanding of the Philippine FMCG market and retail landscape.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to inform decision-making.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with trade marketing software and tools.
