About Us:
We're a small team working on children's toys as well as child development We're looking for a skilled and reliable Accounting/Administrative professional to join our team. This role is perfect for someone with solid experience in Australian financial processes and a keen eye for detail. You'll be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, supporting the CEO in budgeting, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization. We are also looking for someone who is enthusiastic, energetic and creative. as this is a fast paced role.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Operations & Accounting:

- Perform regular reconciliations across accounts.
- Manage and process bills to pay.
- Work closely with the sales team to create and issue invoices.
- Follow up with clients for outstanding invoices.
- Oversee all standard financial operations of the organization.
- Salary Packaging

Reporting & Budgeting:

- Prepare standard monthly XERO reports for board meetings.
- Collaborate with the CEO on annual budgets, typically during May.
- Provide occasional forecasts as required by the CEO.

Payroll & Employee Financials:

- Process payroll for approximately 4 employees.
- Manage superannuation contributions.
- Oversee salary packaging for one employee.

Tax & Compliance:

- Manage and submit BAS and IAS tax payments.
- Ensure compliance with annual financial requirements, including submitting financial information to the ACNC (Australian
- Charities and Not-for-profits Commission).

Skills & Qualifications:

- Proven experience in accounting and administration roles, particularly in Australian companies.
- Strong proficiency in XERO (or similar accounting software).
- In-depth understanding of Australian financial regulations, including BAS, IAS, superannuation, and payroll.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
