Job Scope
The Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales of metering products and solutions to customers in the Philippines. The Sales Manager will oversee the development and implementation sales strategies to meet sales targets and generate revenue. Work closely with customers to understand their metering requirements and propose suitable solutions. Collaborate with the technical team to ensure seamless implementation and excellent after-sales support.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a sales strategy to meet sales targets and increase market share in the Metering industry.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by building and maintaining long-term relationships with key clients.
- Understand customer requirements and propose appropriate metering products and solutions.
- Coordinate with the technical team to ensure smooth implementation and excellent after-sales support.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify potential areas for improvement.
- Prepare and submit sales reports and forecasts to management regularly.
- Collaborate with marketing team to create campaigns to increase brand awareness and sales. Participate in industry events to promote metering products and solutions.
- Ensure that metering products are ERC-certified for sale in the Philippines by following ERC regulations, obtaining certifications, and adhering to ERC standards.
- Stay updated on industry developments and new technologies to provide customers with the latest metering solutions.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience working as Sales professional in the Metering Industry or power utility companies
- MUST have strong knowledge of metering products, services and power related
- As a metering vendor promoting metering products and metering solutions to power utility companies are encouraged to apply
- Proven track record of meeting sales or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Results-oriented with a customer-centric approach.
- Proactive, sales orientated and able to lead metering team
- Willingness to travel across Philippines as and when needed
