We are an acupuncture clinic who is seeking an operations manager to run the day to day operations of our company, and provide leadership, customer service and excellence in service delivery.
Role Description
This is a contract off-site role for an Operations Manager at Tyndall Health Pty Ltd located in Australia. The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficiency in processes, managing staff, and optimising resources to meet performance targets.
Functions may include:
- Answering client phone calls, and email enquiries and managing the schedule calendar for our practitioners
- Being in charge of our calendar and knowing all our practitioner availability
- Understanding our business, and what acupuncture does, in order to best advise our clients.
- Xero transaction reconciliation
- Stock ordering
- Quality checking of invoices and documentation
- Developing policy and procedures
- Staying on top of all staff movements
- Compliance activities
Key requirements:
- Must have an extremely strong initiative. Tasks will not be drip-fed to you. You need to understand the business and develop your own work.
- You must be a strong manager. Leadership and management experience is mandatory
- Healthcare industry knowledge is highly desirable.
- Xero knowledge is also highly desirable.
- Self-directed learning and education
- Attention to detail.
- Clear english accent
- Ability to show humour, empathy and compassion to callers on the phone.
- Strong availability online. You are expected to be immediately available online during your shift.
- Messages and calls must be responded to within minutes of receiving them.
- HIPAA compliant IT hardware. (Seperate work computer preferred).
- Highly reliable electricity and internet connection.
Qualifications
- Operations Management, Process Improvement, and Resource Optimization skills
- Experience in managing staff and ensuring operational efficiency
- Knowledge of healthcare operations and regulatory compliance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field

Role will be initially part time, and subject to a 3 month probation. If the applicant is a good fit for the company, the role will be increased to full time after 3 months.
Contractor role - must be able to issue us a monthly invoice for the agreed rate. Please include your hourly salary expectations in your cover letter.
