Job Responsibilities

  • Strategic HR Support
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, offering guidance on people-related matters, including organizational design, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Align HR strategy with business objectives to help drive growth, enhance employee engagement, and improve overall performance.
  • Talent Management
  • Support talent acquisition, recruiting top talent and Maersk employees.
  • Drive employee development initiatives, including training programs and succession planning, to ensure growth and retention of high-potential employees.
  • Workforce Management
  • Collaborate with Operations Heads on resources requirements to support the business needs.
  • Gatekeeps people-related costs to work within the approved budget.
  • Govern the outsources labor rate matrix.
  • Work with Solutions Design on fully loaded cost for business development.
  • Employee Relations
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees, addressing their concerns and resolving any conflicts or issues that arise.
  • Promote a positive work environment by ensuring fairness, respect, and compliance with company policies and labor laws.
  • Performance Management
  • Provide guidance to leaders on performance management processes, including setting goals, conducting performance reviews, and offering coaching to improve employee performance.
  • Implement strategies to improve employee motivation, productivity, and retention.
  • Organizational Development
  • Assess the effectiveness of the current organizational structure and recommend improvements.
  • Facilitate change management initiatives as needed to ensure smooth transitions during organizational changes.
  • Compensation & Benefits
  • Advise business leaders on compensation and benefits policies to ensure alignment with company goals and market competitiveness.
  • Support compensation reviews and ensure equitable compensation practices across teams.
  • Compliance and Risk Management
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies, minimizing any risk or legal exposure.
  • Provide guidance on employee handbook updates, policies, and practices.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Analyze HR metrics and employee data to provide insights and recommend actions that align with business goals.
  • Regularly report on people-related metrics such as turnover rates, engagement levels, and development initiatives.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
  • At least 7 years of experience in HR or People Partner roles, with a solid understanding of business operations and HR best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with diverse team.
  • Proven experience in talent management, organizational development, and employee relations.
  • Ability to understand business goals and translate them into effective HR strategies.
  • Ability to resolve complex issues and challenges in a timely manner.
  • Skilled at building strong relationships and influencing key stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead change initiatives.
  • Understanding of the need for discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
