Hello!
I am looking for an independent contractor to assist with short and long-form video work in music education. Video projects for this role include long-form "talking head," long-form podcast interviews, and short-form Instagram reels. This is a dynamic role which will utilize basic editing skills: color grading, sound editing, transitions, captions, etc. The editor will also create simple text-based graphics for videos.
This role is perfect for artists who enjoy flexibility and autonomy in work schedules. It is also perfect for artists who enjoy learning about music, working with a clean, minimal brand, and knowing you are making a difference for teachers who engage in your materials.
Successful candidates will be
1. Meticulously detail-oriented in their work, including following project instructions
2. Skilled in Adobe, Davinci, or other industry-standard software
3. Open to feedback
4. Committed to reliable communication and meeting deadlines
The first contract job will be $5 hourly. Subsequent pay will increase based on quality of previous work and previous job experience.
