The Role

We are looking for a talented and creative Jr. Video Editor with a passion for creating engaging short form content across our social media platforms in Australia and New Zealand. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Video Creative and 3D Team, focusing on editing footage from the brand’s influencers and content creators. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, a passion for storytelling, and experience producing videos for social media and performance marketing campaigns.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Create and edit videos using Premiere Pro and After Effects and support from other Adobe Suite Software.
  • Good eye for creating visuals, static and video using our brand guide
  • Interest in Graphic Design and design principles to create content that sells a product but also looks great
  • Familiarity with platform-specific trends, best practices, and audience preferences across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest.
  • A keen eye for visual storytelling that captures attention and communicates a clear message. Strong understanding of graphic design principles and an eye for creating visually appealing content that drives engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Video Creative and 3D Team to produce high quality video content across social media platforms.
  • Work with the Video Creative and 3D Team to ensure videos align with Ecosa’s brand vision, voice, and style.
  • Resize and reuse videos to fit various social media platforms and formats.
  • Support the Video Creative and 3D Team with marketing materials.
  • Stay up to date with the latest editing styles, social media trends, and video techniques for TikTok, Meta, YouTube, and Pinterest.
  • Produce creative static assets in multiple formats, including graphics, GIFs, social tiles and other interactive elements mainly for Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
  • Understand the style/vision of the brand and follow design guidelines for creatives.
  • Support and assist Motion Designers & Senior Video Editor
  • Work directly with the Video Creative and 3D Team to achieve weekly milestones

Qualifications & Experience

  • 1–2 years of video editing experience, preferably in social media and performance marketing campaigns.
  • Strong technical skills using Adobe Software
  • Social media savvy
  • Good understanding of video and audio formats
  • Self-starter/takes initiative
  • Knowledge and interest in performance marketing campaigns
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to adapt to different styles of videos
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive attitude and openness to feedback.
  • Able to work with a sense of urgency whilst balancing a commitment to quality
  • Knowledge of project management tools such as ClickUp is a plus.
  • Experience editing ads for social media and performance marketing ideal
