Business Context and Main Purpose of the Job

This leadership role encompasses the development and implementation of effective strategies and business models, along with innovative route-to-market approaches, to drive profitable growth in the HORECA (Hotel, Restaurant, and Café) sector for our Ice Cream business.

Main Accountabilities

Market Strategy and Sales Leadership, Business Development and Execution:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve company goals, ensuring market penetration and expansion.
  • Lead implementation of short to long-term sales and marketing strategies to achieve company goals ensuring market penetration and expansion
  • Achieve business targets through effective financial management

Growth Initiatives

  • Drive business growth by identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities, expanding the customer base, and fostering key client relationships. Implement strategic plans to ensure long-term sustainable and profitable growth.

Customer Engagement And Satisfaction

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.

Business Partnering And Core Business Process Efficiency

  • Ensure the effectiveness of core business processes to support overall operational success
  • Works closely and collaborates with cross-functional teams (Brand, R&D, Supply Chain, Finance) to ensure alignment with broader company goals and initiatives

Relevant Experience

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent is a plus.
  • Professional Experience: Proven track record with at least 3+ years in a multinational corporate environment, preferably in HORECA, Customer Development and Marketing leadership roles, ideally in the Philippines.
  • Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of Philippine market dynamics, customer behavior, and the regulatory environment.
  • B2B and Out-of-Home Experience: Experience in B2B and out-of-home segments.
  • Strategic and Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-Driven: Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Leadership and Team Development: Ideal candidate should not only have a track record of achieving sales targets but also demonstrate a genuine commitment to the growth and development of their sales teams. They should be passionate about nurturing talent, building a strong sales organization, and contributing to the long-term success of the company.
