What is the Business Development Manager here in 1Aviation?
Lead business development projects/ growth opportunities and execute strategies to achieve company objectives and targets. Identify and build sales leads. Conduct marketplace study, recommend / proposed
growth opportunities. Perform stakeholder management both local and international.
What You Will Do
• Ensure that 1Aviation’s Vision, Mission and Values are achieved.
• Promotes and ensures compliance to Quality, Safety, Security and Customer Service standard based on regulatory requirements, government laws, acceptable industry standards and company policies and procedures.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and relationship building.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making and market positioning.
• Assist CBD Head in negotiation of contracts and agreements and participating in and preparing for an RFP.
• Facilitate/ conduct regular review of Service Level Agreement (SLA) with internal and external customers.
• Travel to location/s local/ international with identified opportunities as and when needed/ required.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, operations and finance teams to ensure compliance and integrated business development initiatives.
• Conduct feasibility studies on identified potential service extensions.
• Prepare comprehensive business case on all proposed growth projects.
• Prepare and present regular reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders on business development activities, progress, and challenges.
• Ensure completeness of all regulatory document compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement in sales processes, methodologies, and tools to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
• Be part of airline and station expansion project teams.
• Influence change, continuous improvement, and innovation.
• Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, as well as identifying and developing connections with potential new clients.
• Perform other tasks as may be assigned by CBD Head and/ or General Manager.
An ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications:
• Strong attention to details
• Strong analytical, problem solving and facilitation skills
• Communication skills both written and verbal
• Business Acumen and Intelligence
• Values accountability
• Service oriented
• Proficient in MS Office (Visio, Excel),
• 5 year and above experience in Airline/ A viation
• Graduate of Industrial Engineering, Business Studies/ Administration/ Management
