Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis
- Manage month-end closing processes
- Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Oversee AR/AP processes, ensuring timely payments and collections
- Manage relationships with vendors and franchisees
- Payroll
- Review and approve bi-weekly payroll
- Ensure compliance with payroll regulations
- Franchise Financial Management
- Calculate and bill franchise-related fees
- Review franchisee financial reports for compliance
- Financial Analysis
- Provide basic financial analysis to support business decisions
- Assist in identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency improvement
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3-5 years of accounting experience
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in franchising or multi-location businesses
- Knowledge of Australian tax regulations
- Familiarity with ERP systems
