Position Summary

We're seeking an Intermediate Finance Manager to join our growing team. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting the CEO in financial decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in accounting principles and be ready to grow with our dynamic company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and reports
  • Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis
  • Manage month-end closing processes
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable
  • Oversee AR/AP processes, ensuring timely payments and collections
  • Manage relationships with vendors and franchisees
  • Payroll
  • Review and approve bi-weekly payroll
  • Ensure compliance with payroll regulations
  • Franchise Financial Management
  • Calculate and bill franchise-related fees
  • Review franchisee financial reports for compliance
  • Financial Analysis
  • Provide basic financial analysis to support business decisions
  • Assist in identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency improvement

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3-5 years of accounting experience
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desired (but not required)

  • Experience in franchising or multi-location businesses
  • Knowledge of Australian tax regulations
  • Familiarity with ERP systems
