Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced, proactive and driven Telesales Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will focus on business development, lead generation, appointment setting, and customer account management.

Product sales include: Telematics, IoT, Smart On-Board Mass, Video Telematics, Fatigue Management, Smart Wearables, Automotive Accessories, Monitoring Bureau Services, Installation Services, and more.

You will work part of a sales unit and be directed to engage with key industries based on sales strategy, including: Transport, Freight and Logistics, Bus and Coach, Civil Construction, Rental and Hire, Utilities and Infrastructure, Mobile Workforce and Trades; being responsible to build your contact list and client base, building relationships and generating sales opportunities through cold calling, customer retention efforts, and sales qualification.

You will be responsible for managing the first-line sales engagement, while facilitating direct opportunity with a fleet size of 1 to 10 vehicles managing the sales process yourself, escalating and setting appointments for the Sales Unit Manager on fleet sizes of 10+ vehicles.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Industry Research & Contact Building: Use the iLink platform to research and build contact lists by industry (Transport, Freight and Logistics, Bus and Coach, Civil Construction, Rental and Hire, Utilities and Infrastructure, Mobile Workforce and Trades, etc.).
  • Lead Generation: Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling and appointment setting.
  • Cold Calling & Appointment Setting: Set qualified appointments for the sales unit Manager for prospects with 10+ vehicles and manage your own pipeline of smaller deals (0–10 vehicles).
  • Brochure Distribution: Send out brochures and product information to potential clients.
  • Qualification: Qualify customer requirements and match them with appropriate products and services.
  • Customer Engagement: Maintain and build relationships with customers through regular retention calls, being responsible to develop and maintain a call cycle.
  • Sales Forecasting & Pipeline Management: Track and manage your sales activity and pipeline, ensuring accurate sales forecasting.
  • Quote and Tender Writing: Preparation and submission of quotes and tenders.
  • Meetings & Notes: Attend online meetings as required and document keynotes and actions.
  • Performance Tracking: Plan and track sales activity, setting goals and measuring performance against KPIs, using the iLink platform.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
  • Deep understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
  • 2 to 5 Years of Sales Experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM software.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a strong ability to self-manage.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
