Key Purpose

To define, plan and ensure effective implementation of Low Voltage product portfolio marketing strategies including defining and communicating product value propositions, loyalty programs, and promotions for the Philippines Market. Collaborate closely with the local sales and marketing professionals, APAC Product Management, APAC Market Applications, APAC Marcom and with the corporate headquarters. This role will support Sales organizations in driving sales and services of the Low Voltage Products.

The role is full time based in the Metro Manila Philippines office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, plan and ensure implementation of the Low Voltage go-to–market strategies on product value propositions and product positioning for CHINT Philippines market
  • Lead the local strategic plan of the product to implement short, medium- and long-term strategies while working closely with the Regional and Global headquarters marketing teams
  • Conduct market analysis, price analysis, customer research and competitor data together with the local marketing and sales team
  • Define the appropriate plans, actions and channels to market including appropriate Low voltage products to launch locally with correct pricing structure and product strategy
  • Focusing on achievement of the target set for metrics like total demand orders, growth margin percentage, net price variance, net promoter score, inventory turn on finished goods and on-time delivery as requested.
  • Drive the sales revenue and profit goals of the product together with the sales team to maximize sales opportunities and profit
  • Development of sales support toolkits such as product samples, sales instructions, presentation/training materials and technical support

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma/ Degree in electrical engineering or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in areas of product marketing, engineering, design or equivalent role that is market-facing.
  • Strong technical understanding of Low Voltage (LV) Products such as circuit breakers, contactors, control products, surge arresters, power meters, earth leakage relays, solar inverter systems or speed drives are encouraged to apply
  • Good understanding of comparable products and solutions from similar competitors
  • Excellent understanding of value based selling approach and techniques
  • Knowledge of marketing tools and techniques to increase the visibility, profile and reputation of an organisation
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to sell ideas well through creative and innovative presentations
  • Experience leading and driving the business processes, planning, budget management and activities
  • Strong passion for delivering results and having attention to detail
