Job Overview:

The Head of IT will play a critical leadership role in overseeing our entire IT department, delivering top-tier internal customer service while managing all aspects of IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, technical development, and data privacy compliance. As the IT Head, you will collaborate closely with senior leadership, contributing to strategic planning, execution of IT projects, and the alignment of technology initiatives with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Guide the company on the optimal use of IT systems, applications, and infrastructure to support both short-term and long-term business goals. Ensure that the company's technology capabilities are at par with industry standards and future-ready.
  • Infrastructure & Communications: Lead the Infrastructure, Communications & Services (ICS) team in managing critical IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, communications services, and data centers. Ensure optimal performance and security, including disaster recovery planning and management of IT assets.
  • Enterprise Application Management: Oversee the SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, ensuring its efficiency, functionality, and data integrity. Lead the deployment of new functionalities, modules, and other enterprise systems (CRM, Project Management, HRIS) to meet evolving business needs.
  • Technical Development: Oversee creating custom SAP ABAP programs and Business Intelligence (BI) solutions using Tableau. Drive innovation in software development to optimize business insights and operational efficiency.
  • Data Privacy Compliance: Lead the Data Privacy Team in ensuring compliance with RA 10173 (Data Privacy Act of 2012), safeguarding sensitive information across all subsidiaries, and implementing data security measures in line with regulatory standards.
  • Project Management & Delivery: Oversee the evaluation, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of business-critical systems, ensuring alignment with user requirements and organizational objectives. Manage project lifecycles from inception to completion while delivering on time and within budget.
  • Customer Support & Service Excellence: Ensure timely and efficient resolution of IT issues through effective management of the IT helpdesk. Track performance metrics to ensure high levels of satisfaction and operational excellence.
  • Management Reporting: Regularly update the Management Committee and IT/DPA Steering Committee on the progress of IT initiatives, emerging risks, and technology trends. Provide insights and recommendations on new projects and technology adoption.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., IT, Engineering, Business) and relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISA, PMP, ITIL).
  • At least 15 years of experience in IT leadership, project management, and systems implementation.
  • Strong expertise in SAP, IT infrastructure, and data privacy regulations.
  • Proven ability to align IT solutions with business strategies.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to manage high-stakes projects.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the capacity to influence key stakeholders and lead strategic discussions.
