As part of our digital expansion, we are looking for a talented YouTube Video Editor and Optimizer to help us create, edit, and optimize educational financial videos that resonate with both individuals and businesses.

As our YouTube Video Editor and Optimizer, you will play a key role in transforming raw video content into high-quality, engaging videos that effectively communicate accounting and financial topics. You'll also optimize videos to ensure they rank well on YouTube, grow our audience, and provide value to our clients. Your work will directly contribute to building a stronger online presence for the firm while helping us connect with our audience in an impactful way.

Key Responsibilities:

Video Editing: Edit and produce professional videos from raw footage, ensuring high quality, clarity, and engagement. This includes trimming, organizing, and adding graphics, text overlays, transitions, and audio enhancements.

YouTube Optimization: Optimize each video for YouTube SEO by researching keywords, writing effective video descriptions, creating attention-grabbing titles, and adding relevant tags to increase discoverability.

Thumbnail Design: Create visually appealing, professional thumbnails that align with our brand and encourage click-throughs.
Brand Consistency: Ensure all video content aligns with the firm’s brand guidelines, voice, and messaging while making complex accounting topics easy to understand.

Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze video performance using YouTube Analytics, providing insights on viewer retention, engagement, and areas for improvement.

Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in video editing and production, with a portfolio showcasing previous work (preferably for professional services or educational content).
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva
Strong knowledge of YouTube SEO, including keyword research, metadata optimization, and video performance tracking.
Familiarity with financial or accounting terminology and concepts (or a willingness to learn) to ensure content accuracy.
Experience in designing custom thumbnails using tools like Photoshop, Canva, or similar.
Detail-oriented with a creative eye for both visual design and storytelling.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a remote team.
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
