Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Assistant Accountant (Australian Payroll) role located in Cebu. The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for handling Australian payroll tasks, assisting in financial reports preparation, supporting account reconciliation, and collaborating with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
Qualifications
- Australian Payroll Processing, Accounting, and Bookkeeping skills
- Experience in financial reports preparation and account reconciliation
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of Australian tax regulations is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Responsibilities
- Oversee payroll accounting
- Prepare and post payroll journal entries
- Process payroll for the entire group
- Assist with year-end reporting
- Drive process improvement
- Liaise with stakeholders across the business
- Assist with payroll-related queries
